Gregory W. Jones - Attorney at LawGreg was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri. He attended Parkview High School where he excelled in academics, lettered in varsity basketball and baseball, and served as president of his senior class. Greg graduated magna cum laude in 1992 from the University of Missouri with BSBA degrees in Economics and Finance & Banking. He was a Missouri Coordinating Board of Higher Education Bright Flight Scholar, University of Missouri Curators Scholar, and National Merit Scholar.

Greg began his professional career in St. Louis with Accenture, a global technology and management consulting firm. He later returned to Springfield and operated a satellite office of his family’s business until it was sold in 1996. Greg went on to attend law school at Washington University in St. Louis earning his J.D. in May, 2000. He was named to the Order of Barristers.

Upon graduation, Greg joined Herzog, Crebs and McGhee in St. Louis as an associate attorney focusing on estate planning and general business law. Following his firm experience, Greg applied his estate planning skills as Director of Gift and Estate Planning for Clarke College in Dubuque, IA, and most recently, as Director of Development for the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

Greg resides in Columbia with his wife, Rebecca, and their two young daughters. Greg and Rebecca are both active volunteers in the community. Rebecca serves on several community boards, is active in their church, and does freelance communication and leadership consulting and training. Greg enjoys volunteering his time at Benton Elementary School, biking, softball, golf, and attending Mizzou athletic events.

JUDICIAL CLERKSHIPS: Worked under the Honorable Jean Hamilton of the United States District Court, Eastern District of Missouri.

MEMBERSHIPS AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: The Missouri Bar; Boone County Bar Association; Mid Missouri Estate Planning Council; Kiwanis Club of Little Dixie (board member, past president); New Century Fund (board member); Missouri Veterinary Medical Foundation (former board member); Alive in Christ Lutheran Church; Boone County Council on Aging (board president); Community Foundation of Central Missouri.
